This classic four-bedroom home with timeless curb appeal sits on a sun-dappled corner of Pine Needle Way in the premier Forest District of the Watercolor community. Designed to be both endlessly luxurious yet completely laid-back and welcoming, this quintessential coastal vacation home has tons of space— including a separate carriage house— and a plunge pool. There are also four bicycles and a golf cart fit for six for getting around. This is your family's new happy place on the Emerald Coast, located close to the Watercolor pools, the sandy beaches, and lots of delicious local restaurants and shops.

A super-charming front porch leads into the first-floor GREAT ROOM, where white shiplap walls and many windows make for a bright and open social space. The LIVING AREA includes a crisp, slip-covered sofa, four armchairs, and a large, mounted HDTV. Next to the living area is a formal DINING SPACE with a dining table that seats eight underneath an elegant chandelier.

The KITCHEN comprises stylish dove-gray cabinets, pristine quartz countertops, and timeless white subway tiles. In the center of the kitchen is a convenient island with seating for two, and the premier appliance suite features a Wolf gas range, a specious refrigerator, a dishwasher, and an in-drawer microwave.

The FIRST BEDROOM, located just off the living area on the first floor, features a chic king-size bed and an HDTV. This level also includes a FULL BATHROOM. Upstairs there’s an open space with a BUNK ROOM that includes a built-in twin-over-twin-size bunk, a sleeper sofa, and a LAUNDRY NOOK with a full-size washer and dryer.

The PRIMARY BEDROOM SUITE is a private oasis with a balcony, lots of natural light, a gorgeous king-size bed, and an ENSUITE PRIVATE BATHROOM with a soaking tub, step-in shower, and dual vanity. Another GUEST BEDROOM on the second floor has a king-size bed and a FULL ATTACHED BATHROOM.

The CARRIAGE HOUSE is a lovely, flexible space perfect for in-laws or older children. With a king-size bed, a sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette, this is an entirely private flat that will also keep guests close to the main house. There’s also a FULL BATHROOM with a step-in shower.

Back at the main house, the backyard is pure coastal bliss, complete with a PLUNGE POOL, an OUTDOOR SHOWER, and a LOUNGE AREA with a fire pit and a gas grill. We had a great week at the property! The location was great- a quick walk to camp watercolor & about 10 minutes to Seaside. The golf cart was a huge perk with the property. The parking passes helped save on parking as well when driving to the beach club! We would definitely stay again!

Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morning Star late July '23. House was clean, well appointed, and super functional. Despite being a rental, just about everything was well taken care of and 30A Luxury Vacations were absolutely amazing taking care of our minor little needs, with excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again, but you DO need the golf cart, as you're in the back of the neighborhood but close to Publix. It is much quieter in this portion of Watercolor, which is what we wanted. Super close to Camp Watercolor, which is great.
Some minor things to tweak for next guest:
Many kitchen cabinet doors were off the hinges, as well as a few upstairs vanities. New hinges or reconnect the doors to the hinges.
Ice maker was blinking red and needed a new filter.
Cleaning company used should pay attention to the corners of the showers, getting that deep clean, as well as making sure the golf cart is at least sprayed off.
I parked in the driveway for a week over top of an ant hill unbeknownst to me, so that made for a fun drive home to Georgia.

Otherwise, amazing stay and great house!

Clean, spacious, nice accommodations. We had 11 people stay here and had plenty of space. Easy to get to the beach via golf cart or bike. Easy access to seaside especially on bike there are quick cut throughs. Ammenties throughout the developments pools, lake, paddle boarding. Really enjoyed our stay. House was comfortable and clean.
