Description

The Southern Serenity Carriage House was designed by the famous local design firm Tracery Interiors. Sleeping the largest amount of guests of any carriage house in our program, Southern Serenity’s Sister provides a stylish, convenient and economical option for multiple guests.

The main level features a private master bedroom with Queen bed, private bath & flat screen TV. The gathering room has vaulted ceilings, flat screen TV with surround sound as well as a pull out Queen sleeper sofa, dining table for up to four guests and kitchen with full size appliances. A spiral staircase leads you to a closed loft with two Queen beds, full bath and TV - perfect for singles, couples, or children.

Whether you start a game of bocce on the nearby West Long Green, enjoy the sunshine or stars from your private balcony, or take a stroll to the nearby boutiques, restaurants and pools, Southern Serenity’s Sister is quite an appealing affordable option right here in Rosemary Beach.

My best friend and I decided to do a last minute get away to escape mardi gras and we are so glad we did! The property was exactly what we needed and were looking for. It was extremely clean with such great use of the small space. The property management company was extremely responsive and very accommodating. The location of this rental is unmatched with it being in the middle of everything. We will be doing a Rosemary Beach trip every year and will always book with 30A Luxury Vacations!

Our carriage house was cute and in a great location! It was clean and tidy. My only critique would be that there were ants in the downstairs bedroom. When I let 30A Luxury Vacations know, they offered to come spray and explained the situation.

We agree with other reviews stating the unit needs some TLC. Overall the unit does have some ware and tear (i.e. blinds need fixed as cords are broken or don’t go down all the way, floors could use a deep clean, fridge water purifier need replacing, etc.), but it gets the job done fine. The fridge had a good ice maker to fill up our small cooler bag each morning and the unit cooled down well in the evenings. It also offered the right amount of space for our party of 2.

We look past the cons as for us, the location of this unit to the Rosemary Beach town square and beach access (Walkover H and I) are really convinient and we come to Rosemary to either be at the beach or out enjoying the area. If this is your same idea, then this unit gets the job done for a reasonable price compared to other carriage house we priced during the May-23 time frame.

The unit could house two couples easily, as the upstairs room has two double beds, more than this you would be cramped. The unit would also hold a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) easily, but mind the winding staircase to get to the second floor and staircase to get into the unit (+10 steps).

We rate the unit 4 out of 5, based on the TLC needed, as we have stayed in other carriage houses that were in better shape and offered similar amenities, but overall we would stay in the unit again if available based on upon the location and reasonable price.

- Lacks closet space; very small hanging area in each bedroom
- No provided clothes hangers in unit
- Minor TLC needed throughout unit
- Lots of steps up to unit, but expected with carriage house unit
- Pillows are flat and need replacing
- Winding staircase to second floor (not suited for older guests or individuals

We spent a few nights and were so pleasantly surprised by the perfect location. It is a very short walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants and shops and the beach. Very clean, nicely appointed and great size for a couple or small family. The only negative is the lack of parking on the property, but we didn’t have an issue finding something on the street near by. Would rent again!

This stay was in a great location and we loved being able to walk to everything nearby including the beach! The house could use a few updates and repairs on the inside, and the staircase was inconvenient as we continued to hit our heads on it when walking past. However, it was very clean, had everything we needed and was a great hangout spot in the evenings when we weren’t at the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place, clean, unbeatable location. just a suggestion more than a complaint, the mattress from the sofa bed is too thin and we believe not enough for a three-day stay. Other than that just wonderful!

Stayed in this unit with a friend durning the week. The units was clean the location was really perfect. I stay in Rosemary a couple of times a year and have not used this agency before. I did have several question/issues and the response time form the agency was poor. As far as the house there were no lamps in the den or upstairs bedroom. No chairs on the small balcony. And a few more issues.

Stayed for 3 nights for fall break, family of 4. Location is 3 minute walk to beach, close to shops and pool. Very clean and nice decor, however, pics make the space look much bigger than reality. I loved having two bathrooms, unfortunetly, the upstairs shower leaked into the kitchen on day 2. Maintenance caulked the next day and assume they will need to cut into drywall to actually fix the leak. We also had ants, a result from hurricane activity and they immediately sprayed for that. I think it was bad luck we had those 2 issues. This house is perfect with two little children, mine are 10 and 16 so we were a bit cramped.

We loved this cozy carriage house. The location is fantastic and the lay out for our family of five worked great (mom dad 3 little kids). The full size kitchen appliances are nice too. The beds were so cozy! One thing to note the laundry is in the garage, it’s not ideal if you plan on washing up clothes on the trip but it’s better than nothing.

Our family of 5 loved this carriage house and the management company was so easy to work with. I read other reviews complaining about the layout, but this is one of the largest carriage houses we've stayed in and we've stayed in a lot of them in Rosemary Beach over the years. The dishwasher and full-size fridge are so helpful during a week at the beach and some don't even have them. Thank you to 30A Luxury for making our stay a truly memorable one!

The space is mostly accurate as shown in photos, clean and bright.
Beds are comfortable.
Would have preferred to know that the upstairs bathroom is not private from the bedroom. Sink is IN the bedroom and toilet/shower are separated with a fabric shower curtain. It was fine for one person but otherwise awkward.
Wifi was spotty to non-existent when we first arrived but Prop Mgt showed up right away with a router that solved the problem. Suggestion to tidy up/conceal the kitchen utensils that sit on open shelves, not shown in photo.
Quiet, in a great location. Wonderful to have bikes, pool access and beach chairs. Super easy check in/out...We had a great time, thank you!

We had a wonderful time in the Southern Serenity Carriage House. The carriage house was so well done and had everything we needed. We took our teenage son and his friend and it was the perfect size for the 4 of us. The location is ideal - within walking distance of the beach, the town center and surrounding areas as well. We used the bikes and beach chairs. We will definitely be back!

As soon as we arrived in Rosemary Beach, the property was available. Everything was available for our stay, including riding bikes, plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, etc. The carriage house was perfect for the four of us, with room to spare. The location was IDEAL, within walking and riding distance to shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The only complaint I have is that although the carriage house was clean, there were some ants inside the property, which is an easy fix. However, on my next vacation at Rosemary Beach, I would stay at Southern Serenity Carriage House again and again !

Worked out perfect for my Adult children who came to attend a wedding! Only issue was they started cleaning the house prior to my daughter leaving and she had to retrieve some of her clothes from the linens.

We loved our carriage house! The things that count were all wonderful! Clean, great shower, good linens, comfy bed, location and quiet. All of these things were perfect! one small the upstairs bath, you really need to add some type of table next to the sink. There was no where to put curlers, make-up etc. But otherwise, we absolutely loved it!

We loved the property! The only issue was the staircase. It’s not safe. We dodged hitting our heads on the steps numerous times. We had to continue to warn everyone to duck or just watch out. Perhaps someone could place some kind of rubber piece on the edges so it will be less of a blow if one does hit their head.

The location is very ideal!

Modern Carriage House has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Just a few blocks to beach or town. 3 comfortable Queen beds and 2 full Baths, nice living room area and enough room for family or friends without feeling too small. Bikes were great and used daily.

This is the perfect carriage house in Rosemary Beach!!

We had such a wonderful time in this carriage house and would definitely recommend it to anyone!! It was recently completely remodeled and it is gorgeous!! New comfy beds and all new furniture, yes please! The service by the management company, 30A Luxury Vacations, was also top notch. They called us and checked in during our stay and have a really neat app that has all the info about the property and area you need. And they were super responsive and helpful when we had questions. We can't wait to come back and stay here and will definitely rent through 30A Luxury again!!

Chris provided us truly amazing customer service for our spring break stay. A last minute issue with our original property came up and he spent over an hour on the phone and on email with me on a Saturday night to secure a house that was even better than our original selection. He checked on us several times during our stay just to be sure we had everything we needed. We will always use 30A Luxury Vacations for our trips to Rosemary!

I stayed here with my mom for a long weekend and it was amazing! We absolutely loved this cute little space. Very clean, great management, perfect location! We'll definitely be staying here again!

From the moment we arrived we knew by far this was going to be a vacation to remember! The carriage house was perfect for our small family. We learned that you park your car upon arrival and literally don't use it again until your departure. We walked or rode bikes to everything! Beautiful architecture, incredible resturants and unique shopping. We loved the quaint town and will be returning next summer!
