Description

With a classic, grand facade that looks like it belongs in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Sunshine Cottage is an elegant escape for the whole family. Two levels of generous wrap-around porches invite you to slip off your flip-flops, sit for a spell— perhaps with an ice-cold glass of sweet tea— and watch the world go by. Located in gorgeous Rosemary Beach, you’ll have easy access to the beach, the quaint town center, fun playgrounds, delightful green spaces, and sparkling community pools.

The main level great room is wide open and bright, with plenty of gracious glass doors topped with sun-filled transoms that lead out to the wrap-around porch. Crisp white walls are framed with natural, warm wood trim and floors. The living area has plenty of space for everyone to gather to catch a game or a great movie.

The kitchen is filled with custom finishes and is entirely open to the living and dining areas, making for effortless socialization for large groups. Outside the courtyard, a teak dining table and gas grill create the perfect spot to serve an alfresco dinner in the twilight. Above the courtyard is a striking, open-air pavilion with plenty of lounging and dining space.

An open staircase with a stylish wrought-iron handrail leads up to the five bedrooms on the second and third floors. The first bedroom is the luxe master suite with a king-size bed, flatscreen television, and spa-like ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has a king-size bed. They share access to the full jack-and-jill bathroom.

The children's room on the third floor is complete with two twin-size beds and an ultra-cozy built-in twin-size bed nook. The final bedroom has a queen-size bed and another built-in bed nook. A full bathroom can be accessed from the hallway.

The convenient location of Sunshine Cottage allows your whole family to walk or bike ride nearly everywhere. Walk next door to the Cabana Pool. Take a stroll down the lane for coffee in the morning. In the afternoons, ride bikes to the Rosemary Beach walkover and spend the day with your toes in the warm sand. Beautiful and spacious home! Great location. Could walk to store’s restaurants and the tennis center which eliminated the hassle of parking. Property management company was great to work with and responded immediately. Hoping it is available for our return next year.

Sunshine is an awesome location close to the Rosemary shopping area and across from neighborhood pool. I've stayed in several houses over the last 20 years on 30A and I would rate this one as in the middle of the pack. The house is lovely and has great bones, but it is showing some wear and tear. The owners need to address some issues and do some updating. Ice machine in kitchen is so loud that it is extremely annoying and mattress in master bedroom needs replaced...super mushy. The house could use a deep clean both inside and out. This is no way diminished our stay as we had a wonderful time, but the house needs some TLC. 30A Luxury Vacations was excellent to work with and immediately addressed the few operational issues we had with the house during our stay.

This is the second time we've stayed at Sunshine Cottage and we love the location and the home. Rosemary Beach is one of our favorite family getaways - the restaurants, shops, beach and pools are all easy walks (or a bike ride) away. This home is well equipped with everything a family needs - my kids particularly like the selection of puzzles and games. The master bedroom gets very bright which we love (but maybe pack an eye mask if you like to sleep in). Comfortable beds, great porches, and the management company is super responsive and makes check-in and check-out incredibly easy....We hope to be back soon!

This was our first time vacationing in Rosemary Beach, but it won't be our last. This community is so beautiful and our property was amazing. It accommodated our entire family of twelve very comfortably. One of the community pools was right across the street. We spent the morning at the beach, and the afternoon at the pool for the grandkids. The town center was within walking distance and there were many restaurant choices close enough to walk or bike. Each morning we would walk through the beautiful neighborhood and enjoy the lovely homes and scenery. After 20 years of California I don't think we will every go back but instead choose to vacation in Florida along this stretch of beautiful beaches. I loved the southern hospitality everywhere we went. People are polite, everything is clean. It was a dream vacation for our family. I highly recommend this location and in particular this home!

I would give the Sunshine Cottage a perfect score . Location, amenities, rental company , set up, beds were comfy... I could go on and on! We had adults and littles and it worked well for everyone. The location was very convenient to everything as well. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

I highly recommend this rental. The house is amazing and the management company did a great job. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the bikes that came with the property. The location of the house is perfect as it is right across from the pool. You can easily walk to the nearby shops and restaurants or ride your bike. There is good communication from the management company, thus I had all of the details that were needed for my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was very clean, organized and the house was tastefully decorated. The hair dryer in the main bedroom needs to be replaced and the bath towels smelled awful. After we washed them they were fine. The universal remotes were sort of frustrating and often seemed to have a mind of their own. The ice machine worked very well but was very loud. Overall, the house was a fabulous rental and we would definitely stay here again! It was very spacious, comfortable and is in a very desirable location. What Good Shall I Do This Day- is a this homes mantra which really spoke to us!

Rosemary Beach never disappoints and Sunshine Cottage was the perfect place for our family's beach week. Kitchen was very well equipped, beds were super comfortable and location is just perfect. Management company was very helpful as well. Highly recommend!!

From the time we inquired about renting to the actual checkout experience, the staff at 30A Luxury Vacations were excellent! The house was very clean, had a nice quality of furnishings, had an extra ice maker, wonderful front porch, and a great location near the Cabana pool and close to the town square. The floor plan was great for our family - a group of 6 adults and 3 children! The only downside would be a small kitchen, but we made that work!!!!!

pretty good experience - beds not as comfortble as Hammock Cottage from last year and when we first got there it smelled like someone had been smoking

Great location and property. We had a full house with people aging from 3 to 55 and everyone had a blast. Nice amenities, comfortable rooms and a covered second floor deck for evening cookouts, football, and cocktails. Very clean and the communication from the rental office was solid. They were helpful with bikes and sitters also. Everything was within walking distance but the bikes made the trip to the beach much easier. Great location. I'd recommend Rosemary Beach and the Sunshine Cottage to anyone.

After such a stressful year and having to cancel one vacation this spring we were so looking forward to this trip and it lived to all our expectations. The home was amazing, in great shape, and was even cleaner than I expected it to be. The location was ideal and our kids loved hanging out in the open carriage house. 30A Luxury made everything so easy, from check it to communicating via text with questions, to instructions for everything in their app. We'll definitely only stay with them going forward and we've stayed with everyone in Rosemary over the years. This is a beautiful home located in a perfect spot in Rosemary. Can't beat being right across the street from the pool and just a short walk to the beach!
