Description

Look no further— you’ve found it. That dazzling 30A home you’ve been dreaming about. Clare’s Cottage is a flawless five-bedroom luxury home with an elegant indoor/outdoor living design. Complete with exposed beams, wrought-iron railings, manicured landscaping, and dazzling white stucco— it’s like someone plucked a flawless French chateau from the Mediterranean and set it down on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. A refreshing private pool in a beautiful courtyard with outdoor seating, dining table, new weber grill, and the sandy shores of the Gulf are only a quick walk down the private gated street.

Enter Clare’s Cottage through dramatic, arched, mahogany double doors and into the outdoor loggia and courtyard. On the first floor, the wide-open living, kitchen, and dining space features exquisite Travertine tile floors, soaring high ceilings, and charming white shiplap walls. Relax on the sofa in front of the 70-inch HDTV, or take a seat at the spacious dining table with seating for eight.

In the kitchen, a tiered peninsula island offers plenty of casual gathering space to wait while the morning coffee brews. Bleached wood cabinets and marble countertops complete the luxurious yet efficient space. High-end, stainless steel appliances include an 8-burner gas stove, oven, Sub-Zero Refrigerator, Inverter Micro Oven, and a Top Hat Ice Maker. Dramatic 9-foot high sliding wood doors open onto the sun-drenched pool deck.

Also on the main floor, the primary master suite has a sumptuous king-size bed and 40-inch HDTV. The ensuite master bathroom has a double marble vanity, freestanding tub, step-in shower, and sparkling chandelier light fixtures.

Upstairs on the second level are four more private bedrooms. There’s a second master suite up here— complete with a king-size bed and HDTV. In the attached bathroom, a positively enormous, spa-like shower has pebble tile detail and multiple showerheads for rinsing off after a day at the beach. There’s also a separate make-up space, a private toilet, and a double vanity.

The next bedroom also has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. The fourth bedroom features two queen-size beds, while the final bedroom is a nautical-themed bunk room with two twin-over-twin-size built-in bunk berths and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard below.

Clare’s Cottage features a beautifully landscaped, private pool area. There’s an 8-person square dining table for relaxed alfresco dining and a shaded seating area with an overhead fan in the entry alcove. Also on the pool deck is a hard piped natural gas BBQ grill. Behind the home, off the pool area, 6 bicycles are ready for your enjoyment.

You’ll be nestled into a quiet and peaceful 11 home cul-de-sac community, without huge crowds to contend with at the private beach. And for an afternoon or a night out, the dining and shopping of downtown Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach are a short walk or bike ride away.

Perfect home for our family birthday celebration

When you get your kids and grandkids together for a trip t there are lots of needs with babies and sleeping and eating -
This was the best location to get to the beach easily and run back to put little ones down for a nap
The kitchen was huge
We ate most meals in and getting to Publix for groceries was a quick drive-
Many reasons to love this property-
There was very annoying construction behind us some days until after 5 -
I called the manager and I know they did what they could -
Loved having bikes too

Conveniently located — short walk to the beach, which is private to this gated HOA; and a short walk or bicycle ride to Rosemary Beach shops and dining. Condition of property was excellent and clean, kitchen was well stocked for dining in. Property Management Co. was indispensable— great communication from reservation process through checkout, always responsive to questions of any nature.

The house was perfect for our family, and it was in such great shape. The kitchen was perfect for home-cooked meals and the pool was lovely for my kids after time at the beach. We loved the experience 30A Luxury Vacations provided and will definitely be calling them for our next 30A vacation and will probably stay here again. Wonderful all around!

Some say where you stay doesn’t matter in a vacation; it’s just a place to sleep. But where you stay sets the tone for the whole getaway and Clare’s Cottage made our vacation. It’s not only beautiful and comfortable, but is perfectly located. It’s a gated community where you are just steps away from a private beach. Plus you are so close to shops and restaurants, you could walk anywhere. Or, with bikes included with the property, you can cruise and enjoy the sites.
Having a private pool was wonderful and it was the perfect size for our family. Our favorite spot was the enclosed patio with part of it covered to still enjoy outside if it was raining or too hot.
The only things we noticed that needed maintenance were the large slider in the kitchen that wouldn’t open, a broken lounge chair and some of the string lights in the patio were out and needed to be replaced. We were notified at check in about a cable box issue that the property company had fixed within hours.
The property company was fabulous and communicated with us everyday.
We would recommend this property highly and hope to stay in it again someday.

Our family had such an amazing experience at Clare's Cottage and we have already planned our next trip. 30A Luxury Vacations made everything so easy and thought of everything to make our stay easy. We had one minor issue and they had it resolved in less than 15 minutes. Property, Service, communication were all more than 5-Star.

Beautiful home and great location! Rental company was very responsive and helpful. Only small downfall is there is a bit of construction in the area but didn’t really interfere with our stay too much.

I cannot say enough things about how amazing this house is. Some of our favorite things, proximity to EVERYTHING! The beach was a few steps away. The private beach was the best, it felt like we had our own little area. Also, love the beach attendant with the chairs and umbrellas. The house was very clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor living area. Pool was amazing. I could go on and on, but the one thing I have to say is check in was terrible. I received no less than 5 reminders email and text about check in being at 5pm and not to call them and they will let us know etc. Then, on check in day I got an email that reminded us again, but this time is said check in BEGINS at 5pm and could go a little bit longer. So I assume 5 or 5:15 at the latest. Well, we didn't get a text until 6pm! We had dinner reservations at 6:45 thinking that would be plenty of time after check in. We have young kids and our flight got in early so we knew we would have to plan the day just right to accomodate not being in the house. Could we have been so unlucky that we were the very last house to be cleaned. If check out is 9am and check in isn't until 6pm that tells me you need more people cleaning houses! I feel like we lost an entire day. You almost need to just pay for the day and not show up until the next day. Not only that but no one called us to let us know it would be so late. Even though they explicitly say not to call them we finally called at 530, and they said it would just be a few more minutes, that they were doing a final check. We kept waiting and then called again, at 5:45 and were told the same thing. FINALLY at 6pm I got a text.
I wish we just had a realistic time frame. If check in can go until 6pm then you need to let people know it can be as late at 6pm. Set expectations. This was truly ridiculous. One other complaint was the house does not provide beach towels, and only 1 roll of paper towel and only a few trash bags.

Pretty house. GREAT location. Easy and close access to the beach without need of bikes or golf cart. Seacrest right across the street and Rosemary 2 blocks down.
We had a snafoo with check in. I think 5p is way too late, then the cleaning people did not show until 5:30. We were compensated, but after a LONG day of driving, it was not good.
The people that rented before us were pigs with small children.
Otherwise, the house was really nice. The master shower did not work well and getting repairs done post Covid is difficult.
We had 10 people stay there. The 2 queen bed room and bunk room had to share a tiny small bathroom, so we shared bathrooms in the other 2 king bedrooms.
All in all, I would recommend this house.
