Enter this gracious Grayton Beach home and find yourself awash in light and air. With two levels of covered porches, you’ll feel like a proper southerner as you sip your afternoon sweet tea and look over the neighborhood. Enjoy the privacy of your fenced back yard complete with a 24x8 built-in pool, perfect for warm summer days.

Indoors, you’ll find an expansive first-floor great room that allows for plenty of family fun and interaction. The living room offers plenty of comfy seating, an LCD TV, and a cooling ceiling fan. The group gourmet will love the chef’s kitchen, complete with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a center island.

The first floor also boasts a master suite with a king bed and a master bath with dual vanities and an oversized walk-in shower.

Upstairs is a den with a wrap-around sofa, perfect for the kids to hang out. Additionally, there are three bedrooms, including another king master. The kids’ room was carefully put together with fun in mind, offering sleeping for 4 (with one mini-twin), a coloring table, and bean bag chairs. The fourth bedroom has accommodations for 4, with two double beds, and shares the hall bath with the kids’ room.

This is the second year we have stayed in this home & we love it! It’s the perfect size & set up for our family & group. We love that it’s close to the beach but also very convenient to hop on the bikes & head down 30a. We also love how close it is to shops & restaurants around Grayton. The house is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need. The beds are very comfortable & the living room furniture is great for hanging out. The pool is a nice added addition. We have made many great memories staying here & hope to continue to in the future!

Enjoyed our stay at FishBait on 30A. Management company was super responsive and the best I have ever experienced, and we have come to 30A at least once a year for 10 years, so pretty impressive.
Overall, house was clean with good floorplan. Living room furniture needed some love or replacement and kitchen pots and pans were not really usable, but otherwise well equipped inside. Lack of good seating on porches and pool patio, but we really enjoyed the pool area. Good proximity to beach and local restaurants.

We rented this house for my moms birthday and had the best time! Everything inside the house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The bikes were in great condition and we rode them all over town but you can also walk pretty much everywhere. We also loved having the pool. We would absolutely go back and rent this house again!

Fish bait was the perfect house for us. The two masters and pool came in handy since we have younger kids and were meeting another couple down there. The house and pool was clean upon arrival. The central location of the house was beneficial wether you rented a golf cart to explore 30A, or walked down to the beach and restaurants.

Great house, great trip. This is a superb house just up the street from the beach. Location is really the only drawback as Defuniak is pretty busy. The 4 bikes came in handy as we would unload everything with the car and then one of us would bike or just walk back to the beach. House was perfect. Great floor plan and nicely appointed.

Fish bait is a nice house in a good location. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the beach, Seaside or Blue Mountain. The pool is a good size and the kids enjoyed playing in it. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious with plenty of towels and linens.

We have been visiting 30a for many years but have never stayed in Grayton. We had a wonderful time. The home is a small distance from the beach but the bikes came in handy and we also rented a golf cart. The house was perfect, clean and offered everything we needed. Thank you!

This is the 15th year in a row that our family has taken a trip to Florida; but only the 6th year in the Panhandle area. The house was plenty big for all of us. It was clean and decorated in beach-happy decor. I cooked a lot, so the nice open kitchen was a plus for me. Although the weather was a bit chilly, the ocean sand and sounds were memorable, the heated pool was a hit and the home (especially for the kids). The house is in walking distance to everything so that was ideal. Still for ease of parking, going to and seeing the dunes and beach transportation we rented an 8-passenger golf cart which made parking, beach pick-up and drop-off so much easier. The management company was very helpful and prompt with any questions that we had. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. As a side note: I am not sure I would come in the spring or summer because traffic would be less than desirable, but most people going to the Beach in this area expect traffic.

This house is perfect for small group or large group. Location is close to everything but still private and quiet. Private pool is very nice, not too much sun not too much shade. Furnishings are not too soft or too hard.....you get the picture. Bikes came with the house and were a necessity for my group to explore all of what Grayton and 30A has to offer! Only thing missing was an outdoor patio table to eat our grilled dinners......still would definitely come back!

We stayed at the Fish Bait in April 2021 with two families and we were extremely impressed with the house. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and not feel on top of each other. All of the kitchen appliances were new and high quality. The pool worked out great for the 5 kids to splash around in and we enjoyed the private backyard. The location of the house is walking distance to the beach and Grayton Beach is fantastic! We also rented a golf cart and I would recommend that. It wasn't easy to find parking by the beach, but we used the golf cart to haul the kids and beach stuff down at times. We just loved the area. Nice big walking/running path along 30A and you are between Sandestin and Seaside for more entertainment. Lastly, 30A Luxury Vacations was great to work with. Very professional and available for needs and questions. Thank you for a great vacation!

Local Family Beach Get Away

We are a Florida native family who grew up on and around the Walton County beaches. We have stayed at many homes when we wanted to do a beach get away - this was our favorite stay at one of our favorite local beaches. The home is absolutely beautiful - the pictures do not do it justice. The bedrooms are all very roomy and there are 2 master suites. The home was extremely clean and well supplied with anything guests may need. The outside area was just as exceptional as the inside - the pool was beautiful and large enough to be enjoyed by a larger family - there were bikes to utilize for guest and were easily accessible. This property is close to everything - you can walk to bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Management to this rental was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I could not recommend this property more - if you choose Fish Bait as your vacation stay you will be very very happy. We would definitely stay at Fish Bait again when back in Grayton.
