Beautiful Beach Retreat

Stayed for 5 days with 3 other couples. Lots of room with great open areas as well as private bedrooms and bathrooms. Every convenience needed for your stay. A six passenger low speed vehicle for easy drive to the beach and also bikes if you wish to ride. Location is great for visiting Seaside Beach, Alys and Rosemary. Very clean and comfortable furniture. Definitely recommend.

Great location! Beautiful home with great amenities. Some minor maintenance to door handles and cabinets but nothing major. Loved staying in this house!! Management was quick to respond to questions or requests.

House was clean! Easy to get in and out! Endless hot water was terrific for our group of 10! Bikes and golf cart were on point! Beautiful walls and ceilings throughout! Plunge pool and outdoor porches were amazing as well!

The house was great and the carriage house was amazing. I highly suggest this if you need a place to get away from the rest of the group with a small child or something (separate room above garage). Our favorite thing was the convenience to Publix and direct route to Watercolor Beach Club and Seaside. We will 100% stay here again. The property management company responded to needs within minutes and made the trip much smoother.

This home treated our large group of 7 adults and 3 littles perfectly. The home has four private en-suite bedroom/bathrooms along with a pullout sofa alongside a bunk bed set. The home was beautifully furnished; all beds and linens very comfortable. The home provided adequate linens, towels, kitchen ware as needed. Packets of laundry and dishwasher soap were provided, enough for our week long stay. Be advised, there were no spices (salt/pepper) or any other food items provided. Many homes that we have stayed in prior have kindly provided the common spices which is always appreciated. Checkin in was a breeze and the use of the bicycles and golf cart was great fun for our family. I give this home the highest recommendation noting that communication with the property management team was exceptional. They were extremely responsive to our flat tire on golf cart and a leak on the refrigerator. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities provided in this home and the watercolor community. A great getaway if you have small children to entertain. We hope to return very soon.

We had a great week at the property! The location was great- a quick walk to camp watercolor & about 10 minutes to Seaside. The golf cart was a huge perk with the property. The parking passes helped save on parking as well when driving to the beach club! We would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

There were many little things that added up to quite a bit and most of it were things that they said they were aware of but had not relayed it to us. We arrived on a Sunday and then the following Monday was Labor Day, so they were not able to attend to anything until Tuesday which is understandable. When we arrived some ladies were setting towels out, they said they had removed all the decorative pillows off bed to wash the cases and they were not dry. I don't believe this home was rented before we got there (as they confirmed) so not sure why this happened, anyway the cases were never returned and beds had just pillow cases on them. Upstairs Bedroom, toilet paper holder was coming off of wall, the same with the towel rack above the toilet. Master bath upstairs had no plug in the sink, and the faucet was loose and not glued down, so it wobbled. In every bathroom there was some hot/cold knobs missing from either the sink or the tubs. The bunkroom bathroom cabinet door was broken (again they were aware of it), broken at hinges. Downstairs hallway bath screeched every time the light came on (again, aware of it and said they had it on order to be fixed) We needed lightbulbs for two lamps, a clothespin was holding the roman shade in living room up because it was broken. The firepit outside didn't light at all and then when it did, it lit very high. The washing machine was very moldy around the rims, just need to be cleaned. The carriage house and bunkroom area rugs both had red stains in them. A cabinet door in the kitchen was completely missing and again they did know it but said it was on work order to be done. We notified them of all these things and they sent someone to fix two things, the toilet paper holder and towel rack and then my husband said they closed the ticket on all other things. The house is in a great location and we enjoyed the golf cart and bikes and it is decorated nicely but all of these little things are items that should be in working order and for the rental price we would expect things to be well taken care of and in good working order.

Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morning Star late July '23. House was clean, well appointed, and super functional. Despite being a rental, just about everything was well taken care of and 30A Luxury Vacations were absolutely amazing taking care of our minor little needs, with excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again, but you DO need the golf cart, as you're in the back of the neighborhood but close to Publix. It is much quieter in this portion of Watercolor, which is what we wanted. Super close to Camp Watercolor, which is great.
Some minor things to tweak for next guest:
Many kitchen cabinet doors were off the hinges, as well as a few upstairs vanities. New hinges or reconnect the doors to the hinges.
Ice maker was blinking red and needed a new filter.
Cleaning company used should pay attention to the corners of the showers, getting that deep clean, as well as making sure the golf cart is at least sprayed off.
I parked in the driveway for a week over top of an ant hill unbeknownst to me, so that made for a fun drive home to Georgia.

Otherwise, amazing stay and great house!

Clean, spacious, nice accommodations. We had 11 people stay here and had plenty of space. Easy to get to the beach via golf cart or bike. Easy access to seaside especially on bike there are quick cut throughs. Ammenties throughout the developments pools, lake, paddle boarding. Really enjoyed our stay. House was comfortable and clean.
